Constitutional-law expert Frank Scaturro discusses President Ulysses Grant, just weeks after the 150th anniversary of Grant’s first inauguration, at a time of much scholarly reevaluation of his presidency. As a college student, Scaturro spearheaded the restoration of Grant’s Tomb in Riverside Park and in 1999 published a reassessment of his presidency, President Grant Reconsidered, which will be for sale, along with other items.
