The Bay Ridge Historical Society meets on the third Wednesdays of most months, with breaks in the summer and winter.
All events are free and open to the public.

Stuart M. Blumin and Glenn C. Altschuler, authors of The Rise and Fall of Protestant Brooklyn, discuss how the Town of New Utrecht, which included Bay Ridge, went from a community of farms and summer homes to a part of the expanding metropolis of Greater New York.

Founded in 1976, the Bay Ridge Historical Society helps preserve the history of the Greater Bay Ridge Area, while enlightening current and past residents about its historic significance. It does so through slideshows, PowerPoint presentations, lectures, bus trips and tours. Its members have also published several books.
